well I am new at it and my stuff is really lousy looking compared to some things I have seen, But I want to make a book that is totally based on my dearest and best friend, Most of the page ideas I have seen are oriented towards everything but, I have yet to see a single page based on two adult guys that are best friends. Anyone have any suggestions ideas etc.....

Hey I would love to see more guys scrapping. I have four boys and my youngest one is a scrapper he is 15. Also great idea to have some pages about best friends. I have lots of pages about my kids with their buddies but they are when there were younger. I'd love to see what you come up with. Because I have so much testostorone running through my family (with four sons and two grandsons, a brother and a nephew) I am always on the look out for masculine looking pages. So if you come up with any good ones please share. Bronwyn

Why don't you just adapt a page layout you like to your purposes.

Quite a few companies make 'guy oriented' papers, American Traditional Designs and K&Company come to mind.

The thing with scrapbooking is that it's graphic design that has a physical medium. So the tenets of good layout are the same whether you use girly materials and patterns or guy styles.

Also, this is an excellent opportunity for you to explore your own creativity. Can't find what you're looking for? Make it.

my husband scrapped a great layout on fly fishing from a recent vacation. He said he might do more - but seems to enjoy the looking at completed pages more than the hands on. He says it has more to do with finding the time for one more hobby than the actual scrapping, though. He also has gotten much more interested in thinking about saving postcards and other trinkets from travels to include in pages.
